I'm so glad your pup pulled through after a hard battle as well!  Lois Lane is on a half a zantac every day for life as well.  She was on a couple of other meds (probiotics) as she was still having some regurgitation issues even a year after her ordeal, but she has since been weaned off of those and is doing just fine.  We still keep her diet strict - currently we have her on Nutro Ultra Weight Management canned food and she's doing terrific.  I hope your pup continues to do well!
