Temperament / Behavior:
A Jack Russell is a very loving dog and very obedient. They enjoy games, playing with toys, and are friendly and kind to children.  Jack Russell’s are very intelligent, vocal and fearless. They love dog sports such as agility or flyball.  They can be stubborn at times and possibly aggressive towards other animals or people if not properly socialized.

Activity:
Jack Russell Terriers are working dogs, originally bred for fox hunting.  Due to their working disposition, Jack Russell’s need daily exercise to relieve their high energy levels.   Jack Russell’s get bored easily and if they are not given proper exercise they have a tendency to entertain themselves, likely by destroying your furniture or other household items.  It is not recommended to keep a Jack Russell in an apartment or a condo unless the dog can be walked several times a day in 30 minute stints.
