Charlie: June 2002 - January 26 2006 |
|
I know I don't get on here much nowadays, but I know some of you will remember my little wild mouse, Charlie. He died during the night, having been apparently fine yesterday. He was 3 years and 7 months old. I always hoped that he would pass away quietly at home, without having a long illness or trips to the vet, and he did. But I suppose I really didn't want him to ever leave.
He was rescued from a drain in which he almost drowned, just a tiny baby with a thread for a tail. I never dreamed he would live so long, but I wish it could have been much longer.
Sleep tight, Charlie. :*

Oh Linda I'm sorry for your loss. What an amazing run he had though - to be rescued from such peril and then to last so long. Such a special boy.
Sleep tight, Charlie mouse, and play hard.

I'm sorry - I remember Charlie's story (can't believe it was quite so long ago that you found him).

You were lucky to have had Charlie for such a long time, and he was lucky to have had you!
