it feels like a rat in my family is dying. and yet, not... because all the people i care about are still alive. and most have traveled the 'rainbow bridge' to the new forum or to the forum i have called a second home for years.

we can still order the ratpalace calendars (and i think everyone needs a pair of those)

and it does seem fitting that the palace be taken over by pirates...

i know on monday i am gonna come here, still expecting to see new posts.
but the era will have ended. and christy will sigh a big sigh of relief mixed with tears.

and even tho he is no longer on the list of emoticons, beethoven and all the other raticons i created for the special people on this board will always have a home. (btw, beethoven is a BIG hit on the florida ratlist.)

one more time, just for you, christy.

I didn't realize my beethoven icon wasn't in the list anymmore! He must have gotten removed during the last hack and didn't get put back up. It's my all time favorite raticon, no doubt about it. Beethoven and his bed head. Mr. Green

Only about 30 more minutes left now. It kind of feels like New Years, only not exciting. Or maybe the end of the world, but I wouldn't know what that feels like. Its so weird to know that there is only a certain amount of time left for RP to "live"

EMR, I think Christy is closing it down tomarow evening, so we still have most of Sunday.

RP will always be my First home, it will always hold a special place in all of our hearts. there will always come a time with things have to change. I am very sad to see RP go, but I am very glad to say myself and other have grown alot closer in the past week than in the 2 years at RP. and again! We have RP to thank for this! After a while RA will will lessen the RP void. It all takes time.

Because of this site I learned so much and it was my home, I will miss Rp and I am greatful for the knowledge I have accrued, Thanks Christy and Jason for all the hard work you put forth. This site will be greatly missed-Sheri

I haven't posted much, nor do I really 'know' anyone here, but I just want to say that I have learnt so much here, and enjoyed logging in 8-10 times a day since I joined. While I am a member at Rats Ahoy! and Goosemoose forums, they just are not the same- I feel lost Sad Rat

So thankyou to Christy and Jason for all your hard work, and to everyone here for making it a good place to meet fellow rattie lovers. I'll miss reading new posts and posting, but at least we can still read over all the old posts and information.
