I think you might be right some look like brindles and one looks like it's going to have patches. No I haven't sexed them, but I'm dying to find out. They all look the same to me.

Yeah, sexing mice is a little bit more difficult than sexing rats, at least for me anyway. In babies, Its a *very* subtle difference in distance from the anus to urethra, and that's it. Once you get the hang of it, its pretty easy, but I definately understand why it would look confusing. I'll see if maybe I can find some pictures illustrating the difference...hmm.

Or just wait for them to be 8-10 days old. Then, look for nipples on the lower stomach area - nipples are present from 8 days of age and on. Females have them, males don't.
I use the nipple method to double-check myself while sexing baby mice. I am usually correct, even when they are a day or two old...but I have been fooled before.

Well, they are now 7 days old. I think there is only one brindle and their is one that is dark with a light belly. The rest are turning out to be some kind of light colors. Well here are 2 from today (brindle one can't be seen because he/she is under everyone):

Actually it looks like one of the other pups is a *really* light brindle. Very adorable. Could you get frontal pics of the light boy, who seems to be grey in the photo?

 Oh my, do you think Twinky will get that big?  I have always thought she was a little large for a mouse.

Well, Twinky is already showing those little hip rolls, I can see them in that photo. She could be Badger's double, I swear! I'm telling you, once you've seen a mouse potato in real life, you never forget it, and you can look back and recall the early warning signs like hip rolls that you once thought were just cute baby fat...

Well, maybe when/if she gets bigger my mom won't be scared of her. I can just tell her it's a baby rat. I have absolutly no clue as to why she loves rats, but s scared of a mouse. Twinky is already almost as big as one of my rats when he was little. I guess I won't be giving her any kind of critter trail tubes. I don't want to have to grease her and pull her out.

The squished one is yours You're good. The baby behind the brindle is the guy that sees to be getting points, I think he's my favorite. While I was taking pictures he was being very good and didn't try to jump out of my hand. I just took pictures of those two for you.
