Here we go....
This is an empty Tide container.
They are going absolutely nutz playing in it!

Dawn - Great Idea...
seeing the news paper stuffing made me think of this
http://www.dapper.com.au/toys.htm#pinata
After the "new" factor wears off hide 1 big pinata in the "hardest" place to find.
They will play with it like it is a new toy

I do need to read at the dapper rat...my bad.
Rat Palace is my favorite place to do any reading.
I have had fun watching them play tag in there! LOL!
This is nice and large all 3 of them easily fit inside there with much room to spare.
We have a recycle plant in our town...so we just went there and took this from
the pile. I can get lots of these.....anyone want one??? LOL!
I think this nifty little deal is the best thing since sliced cheese!

It is a neat idea, but it looks like a gas can/container more than a Tide container! Any smell to it?

LOL!!!
Gas container??? Nope it is an empty laundry soap jug.
I washed it several times, scrubbed it out, then aired it out a few days.
ETA: Here is another brand still full of soap...

Ha Ha....Just finished playing with rats early this am....1 of the who must spend alot of time in there...he does smell really pretty! It is very refreshing..LOL!
So yes there is a residual odor in the jug.
I do know that I cleaned all the soap out, I used a bottle brush and scrubbed it....
None of them are sneezing or anything.
Is there any reason you are aware of that could cause harm to them?
Thank you for the thought....anyone have opinions?
They do sleep in their hammock though.

I would think it's ok as long as they seem fine and you scrubbed it really well. I know sometimes there are just things you can't get the smell off of no matter what you do However usually it's a more unpleasant smell (like cat pee in a car) so be thankful you're only having this issue with a smellgood scent

I could not get my nose out of his fur
and I am convinced he knows I am crazy! LOL!
