Our pets and animal companions are very important to us and can touch our hearts in ways no one else can.  Capture those kindred spirits forever with an original, hand sketched portrait of your beloved pet, whether it be a dog, cat, rodent, bird or any type of cherished pet.  In commissioning a pet portrait you will not only be receiving a beautiful piece of art work of your pet, you will also be supporting various animal causes as 15% of all proceeds will be donated to animal support organizations.  These organization will be listed on the site as we donate to them.  Pet portraits also make wonderful gifts for the animal lovers in your life!

HOUSING:

Tarantulas do not need a large enclosure, but an arboreal species will require a tall cage and a burrowing type spider will need appropriate substrate or hiding places. For terrestrial or burrowing spiders, the enclosure generally should be 3 times the leg span in length and 2 times the leg span in width. The enclosure should not be much higher than the length of the spider because these spiders are fairly heavy and if they should climb and fall, it could be dangerous or even fatal for them.
